OBJECTIVE:
Transition from identifying the VALUES for your Eden to selecting and prioritizing the ELEMENTS that could bring these values to life and create an action plan for taking the next steps to design your perfect Eden.
This activity is outlined on INSTRUCTION CARD #10 of The Design Your Eden Card Deck.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. VALUE SELECTION: Select a card from your VALUE Deck.
2. REFLECTION: Spend time considering your connection to this VALUE. Does this value resonate with you? Does it align with the vision for your perfect Eden?
3. SORTING: Sort the selected card into one of three stacks:
➔ HAVE: VALUES that are currently represented in your outdoor space.
➔ WANT: VALUES you desire to be reflected in your outdoor space in the future.
➔ NOT INTERESTED: VALUES that do not align with the vision for your Eden now or in the future.
Tip: Take your time with each card. Reflecting on your personal values and how they tie to your space is a critical part of creating your Eden.
4. NEXT STEP: Repeat this process with each VALUE Card in your deck then proceed to the next activity: CRAFTING YOUR EDEN.
