OBJECTIVE:
Establish which VALUES are already represented in your outdoor space, Eliminate VALUES that are not aligned with the vision for the outdoor space, and create a wish list for future modifications and additions.
This activity is outlined on INSTRUCTION CARD #9 of The Design Your Eden Card Deck
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. VALUE SELECTION: Select a card from your VALUE Deck.
2. REFLECTION: Spend time considering your connection to this VALUE. Does this value resonate with you? Does it align with the vision for your perfect Eden?
3. SORTING: Sort the selected card into one of three stacks:
➔ HAVE: VALUES that are currently represented in your outdoor space.
➔ WANT: VALUES you desire to be reflected in your outdoor space in the future.
➔ NOT INTERESTED: VALUES that do not align with the vision for your Eden now or in the future.
Tip: Take your time with each card. Reflecting on your personal values and how they tie to your space is a critical part of creating your Eden.
4. NEXT STEP: Repeat this process with each VALUE Card in your deck then proceed to the next activity: CRAFTING YOUR EDEN.
